ASUS & VIDYA Launch Digital Literacy Drive for 6,000+ Students
In a bid to bridge the digital divide and empower the next generation, ASUS, a leading technology company, has announced the launch of its Digital Literacy Program in collaboration with VIDYA, a non-profit organization. The program aims to impart digital literacy and skilling initiatives to over 6,000 students from Grade 1 to 10, as well as youth, in the marginalized regions of Western India.
The digital literacy drive is an ambitious initiative that seeks to equip the students with essential skills and digital expertise through interactive and project-based learning. The program is designed to cater to the needs of the marginalized communities, recognizing the importance of digital literacy in today’s digitally-driven world.
The ASUS Digital Literacy Program will focus on providing age-appropriate curriculum and hands-on training to the students, enabling them to navigate the digital world with confidence. The program’s curriculum will cover a range of topics, including computer basics, internet safety, digital citizenship, and essential computer skills.
The program will also provide students with access to ASUS’s range of educational devices, including laptops and tablets, which will be specifically designed to cater to the needs of students and teachers. These devices will be equipped with educational applications and tools that will facilitate seamless learning and project-based activities.
The collaboration between ASUS and VIDYA is a significant step towards bridging the digital divide and promoting digital inclusion.
