Axis My India, CNX & Today’s Chanakya Exit Polls Predict BJP Win in Delhi Polls
The Delhi Assembly elections are just around the corner, and the exit polls are painting a clear picture of the outcome. Axis My India, CNX, and Today’s Chanakya have all released their exit polls, predicting a resounding victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Delhi Assembly polls.
According to Axis My India’s exit poll, the BJP is expected to win 45-55 out of 70 Delhi Assembly seats, returning to power in the capital after 27 years. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which has been in power in Delhi since 2013, is expected to win 15-25 seats, while the Congress party is predicted to win 0-1 seat.
Today’s Chanakya, another well-known exit poll, has also predicted a significant victory for the BJP, forecasting around 51 seats for the party. The AAP, according to Today’s Chanakya, is expected to win around 19 seats.
CNX, a leading exit poll agency, has predicted 49-61 seats for the BJP, while the AAP is expected to win 10-19 seats.
These exit polls suggest that the BJP is well on its way to forming the government in Delhi, with a significant majority in the Assembly. The AAP, which has been the ruling party in Delhi since 2013, is expected to suffer a major setback, losing a significant number of seats.
The BJP’s victory is attributed to the party’s strong organization and campaign, which has focused on issues such as law and order, education, and employment. The party has also been able to capitalize on the anti-AAP sentiment, which has been growing in recent months.
The AAP, on the other hand, has been facing criticism for its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as its government’s decision to increase electricity and water rates. The party’s campaign has also been marred by internal conflicts and controversies, which have affected its chances of winning.
The Congress party, which has been struggling to gain traction in Delhi, is expected to win a handful of seats, if any. The party’s campaign has been lackluster, and it has been unable to mount a significant challenge to the BJP and AAP.
The exit polls also predict a significant increase in the BJP’s vote share, which could be attributed to the party’s strong campaign and the growing popularity of its leader, Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The Delhi Assembly polls are seen as a crucial test for the BJP, which has been trying to expand its presence in the capital. The party has been able to win a significant number of seats in Delhi’s municipal elections and by-elections in recent years, and the Assembly polls are seen as an opportunity to consolidate its gains.
The AAP, on the other hand, is fighting to retain its majority in the Assembly and prevent the BJP from coming to power. The party’s leader, Arvind Kejriwal, has been campaigning extensively, trying to connect with voters and address their concerns.
The results of the Delhi Assembly polls will be declared on February 11, and it remains to be seen whether the exit polls will be accurate or not. However, based on the current trends and predictions, it appears that the BJP is well on its way to winning the polls and forming the government in Delhi.
