Title: Goons mobbed, threatened him & my son: Ayesha as husband booked over fight in Goa
The incident that took place in Goa has left Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia Azmi shaken to the core. Her husband, Maharashtra MLA Abu Azmi’s son Farhan, was booked over a fight with locals in Goa, and Ayesha has spoken out about the terrifying ordeal her family faced.
“It was a night of horror,” Ayesha said in an interview, describing the events that unfolded. “My husband and son were brutally bullied… Goan goons mobbed, threatened and tormented them for hours.”
According to Ayesha, the altercation started when Farhan and his friends visited a popular bar in Goa. Ayesha claimed that the group was “peacefully enjoying” themselves when some locals started causing trouble.
“My son and his friends were having a drink, and suddenly some people started misbehaving,” Ayesha explained. “They pushed and shoved them, and my son tried to calm them down. But the situation escalated, and soon there were almost 150 people involved.”
Despite the large number of people, Ayesha said that her husband and son were brutally beaten and threatened for hours. She claimed that the goons even broke some of their belongings, including Farhan’s phone and watch.
“My son was crying, and my husband was trying to protect him,” Ayesha recalled. “They were terrified. They just wanted to go home, but the mob wouldn’t let them.”
In an attempt to escape the situation, Farhan called the police for help. Ayesha said that the authorities took some time to arrive, and in the meantime, the mob continued to torment her family.
“It was like they were enjoying the spectacle,” Ayesha said. “They wouldn’t let my husband and son leave. They were just taunting them, saying ‘you’re going to die here’. It was a nightmare.”
Finally, the police arrived and took Farhan and his friends into custody. Ayesha said that her family was shaken by the experience and is still trying to come to terms with what happened.
“We’re still trying to process the trauma,” Ayesha said. “It’s been a few days, but the memories are still fresh. My husband and son are still shaken. We’re just trying to stay strong for each other.”
The incident has raised concerns about the safety of tourists in Goa. The state has seen a number of violent incidents in recent years, including fights and assaults involving locals and tourists.
Goa has a reputation for being a popular tourist destination, known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife. However, the state has also struggled with issues such as gang warfare and drug-related violence.
In recent years, there have been a number of reports of tourists being involved in fights and assaults in Goa. In 2020, a group of British tourists was involved in a brawl with locals at a popular beachside bar.
The Goa government has been criticized for its handling of these incidents, with many calling for stricter laws and more effective policing.
As for Ayesha and her family, they are still trying to come to terms with the trauma they experienced. Ayesha has spoken out about the incident in an attempt to raise awareness about the dangers of mob violence and the need for greater safety measures in tourist areas.
“We just want to make sure that no one else has to go through what we did,” Ayesha said. “We want to make sure that Goa is a safe place for tourists and locals alike.”
