Administration Hosts Iftaar Party in J&K’s Kishtwar
In a heartwarming gesture to promote unity and brotherhood, the District Administration of Kishtwar, a picturesque town in Jammu and Kashmir, recently hosted an Iftaar party to mark the sacred month of Ramadan. The event, held at the TRC Kishtwar, was led by Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan and witnessed the participation of officials, Army, Police, CRPF personnel, and local residents.
Kishtwar, nestled in the Chenab Valley, is a significant destination known for its rich cultural heritage, stunning natural beauty, and lucrative saffron and sapphire industries. The attendees were treated to a sumptuous iftaar spread, featuring a variety of traditional dishes and refreshments. The event also witnessed a range of cultural performances, including traditional Kashmiri music and dance, folk songs, and poetry recitation.
