Axis My India, CNX & Today’s Chanakya Exit Polls Predict BJP Win in Delhi Polls
The Delhi Assembly elections 2020 are just around the corner, and the exit polls have started pouring in, giving us a glimpse into the possible outcome of the polls. Axis My India, CNX, and Today’s Chanakya have all released their exit polls, and the results are quite intriguing. According to these exit polls, the BJP is set to win the Delhi Assembly elections, returning to power in the national capital after 27 years.
Axis My India’s exit poll predicted that the BJP will win 45-55 out of the total 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly. This would mean a significant victory for the party, which has been struggling to make inroads in Delhi. The exit poll also predicted that the AAP will win 15-25 seats, while the Congress will manage to win only 0-1 seat.
Today’s Chanakya, another renowned exit poll agency, predicted a slightly different outcome. According to their poll, the BJP is likely to win around 51 seats, while the AAP will win around 19 seats. This would mean a comfortable majority for the BJP, which has been ruling Delhi in alliance with the AAP since 2015.
CNX, a Mumbai-based exit poll agency, also predicted a BJP victory, but with a slightly lower margin. According to their poll, the BJP is likely to win 49-61 seats, while the AAP will win 10-19 seats. This would mean a significant victory for the BJP, but with a narrower margin than predicted by Axis My India and Today’s Chanakya.
It is worth noting that exit polls are not always accurate, and the actual outcome of the polls may differ from the predictions. However, these exit polls do give us an indication of the mood of the voters in Delhi and the likely outcome of the polls.
The Delhi Assembly elections have been seen as a crucial test for the BJP, which has been trying to make inroads in the national capital. The party had lost the 2015 Assembly elections to the AAP, which won 67 out of the total 70 seats. The BJP, however, had managed to win 3 seats in the election.
The AAP, on the other hand, has been trying to retain power in Delhi and prove its credibility as a governing party. The party had won the Delhi Assembly elections in 2015, defeating the BJP, and had been ruling the city along with the Congress since then.
The Congress, which had been a dominant force in Delhi politics for years, has been trying to regain its lost ground in the city. The party had won 8 seats in the 2015 Assembly elections, but had later parted ways with the AAP to form a government.
The Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 8, and the results will be declared on February 11. The exit polls may not be 100% accurate, but they do give us an indication of the mood of the voters and the likely outcome of the polls.
