Disha Salian was raped & murdered, says father; seeks FIR against Aaditya Thackeray
The tragic death of Disha Salian, the former manager of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has taken a new turn with her father filing a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking a fresh probe into her death. The plea alleges that Disha was brutally raped and murdered, and there was a deliberate attempt to cover up the truth to protect influential individuals. The petition also seeks an FIR against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, who was allegedly present at the party where Disha died.
Disha Salian’s death was initially reported as an accident or suicide, but her father, Satish Salian, has always maintained that his daughter was murdered. In a shocking revelation, Satish Salian has now alleged that Disha was raped and murdered, and that the Mumbai police were complicit in the cover-up.
The petition filed by Satish Salian in the Bombay High Court seeks a direction to the police to register an FIR against Aaditya Thackeray and others involved in the alleged conspiracy. The plea also demands a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Disha’s death and the alleged murder.
The petition alleges that Disha was at a party hosted by Akshay Kumar at his farmhouse in Khandala on June 8, 2020, where she was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered. The petition claims that Aaditya Thackeray was also present at the party, and that he had a role in the alleged conspiracy to cover up the crime.
The petition reads, “The petitioner’s daughter, Disha Salian, was brutally raped and murdered at the farmhouse of Akshay Kumar in Khandala. The Mumbai police, instead of conducting a thorough investigation, hastily closed the death as a case of suicide or accidental death.”
The petition goes on to state that the police were under pressure to protect influential persons, including Aaditya Thackeray, and therefore, they did not conduct a proper investigation into the death. The petition alleges that the police were “complicit in the cover-up” and that they did not take any action against those who were present at the party.
The petition seeks a direction to the police to register an FIR against Aaditya Thackeray and others under sections 302 (murder), 376 (rape), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code. The petition also seeks compensation for the family and a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Disha’s death.
This development comes as a shock to many, who had already been skeptical about the circumstances surrounding Disha’s death. The case has sparked a fresh wave of outrage and demand for justice for Disha and her family.
The case has also taken a political turn, with many questioning the role of Aaditya Thackeray and the Shiv Sena in the alleged cover-up. The opposition parties have demanded a thorough investigation into the matter and have accused the ruling party of trying to protect its own.
As the investigation continues, Disha’s family is seeking justice and demanding that the truth behind her death be revealed. The Bombay High Court has now taken cognizance of the petition and has issued a notice to the police and Aaditya Thackeray to respond to the allegations.
The case has once again highlighted the need for a thorough and independent investigation into the death of Disha Salian. The family’s plea for justice has sparked a national debate on the need for accountability and transparency in the investigation process.
